Today I have a question for YOU! “What gives you inspiration in your life? I know I have shared many things that inspire me, but each of you experience life in your own way and through your own understanding. What inspires you?
Today I also want to thank you for joining me on this journey, YOU have been a great source of inspiration and encouragement in my life: to keep writing, to see the world as a more beautiful & loving place, and to be more content with who I am. Thank you again!

Yesterday, I was tickling my son. His laughter rang through my ears, and actually caused me to start laughing too! He loves being tickled, and loves laughing! It’s amazing how fabulous laughing makes you feel! When I was starting to feel well after my long bout with post-partum depression, I sat down and watched, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and I started to laugh! Until the laughter started, I hadn’t realized how long it had been since I last laughed! And at the same moment, I realized how good I felt! And I stared laughing throughout the movie. And it seemed that after I laughed that night, I was finding things in my life to be happy about again!
It’s amazing how easily and readily children start laughing. Its a part of who they are. So…we were all children once upon a time, thus laughter is in our blood-literally! Children are spontaneous & often do things in life that, we as adults, wouldn’t think twice about! Put your chocolate birthday cake all over yourself and smile about it!
Are you smiling yet?! Maybe even feeling a bit like a laugh could come along?
I know when we are stuck in a rut, or feeling depressed, its really challenging to just read along and change your state; so do something intentional to change your state:
Whatever it is that you discover to make you laugh, know that by laughing, you are making yourself healthier!

When you say thank you, and allow yourself to be filled with gratitude, it changes your state of mind, and your worldly out-look is suddenly filled with a positive perspective. –Bella Bleue
Take the time to feel gratitude, and see the powerful change that happens within you!

So one of the formulas for living Healthy:
Live in the Moment: In the Here and Now and
1.) Let wisdom guide you:
2.) Lead your life with your heart and mind:
If we are not able to be healthy within ourselves then no diet, doctor, medicine etc. will be able to really help us.
And thus, the challenge is to really deeply love yourself,
and by doing so, nothing else at any given moment, will have the power to take You away from Who you are.
Look at yourself in the mirror today and know that you are BELOVED.

One of the greatest ways to connect to another person is to give him/her the gift of your listening ear. Every single one of us wants to be heard. We want our words to mean something to someone else, because the words we speak come from within our being. Just as you long for attention from another person, someone else longs for your attention. During my years as a chaplain, I discovered that listening, usually without saying a word, to someone’s story was most often the greatest healing gift I could offer.
When you feel listened to you are empowered to trust more deeply in the wonderful, amazing, incredible, fabulous, unique, (& so much more) person you are! -Bella Bleue
I invite you:
It’s amazing how when we “Hear Someone Long Enough to Listen” we are giving an incredible gift, and at the same time receiving so much in return.

When we take the time to see nature around us, we can learn deep truths about life. I live in the Northeast. The changes in the weather from one day to the next is a complete mystery this year….You never know what the day may bring. This can be true in our life too…we may wake up and expect the day to be one way, and it brings something completely different or unexpected. But when this happens, we have the choice to embrace the opportunity to be inspired by the experience or we can choose to completely miss it. This morning, I looked out my doorstep and saw this image in nature speaking to me.
This image is ironic in some ways. It’s the image of snow embracing a plant that has died for the season, against the backdrop of new life ‘springing forth.’ Walking out my door I could have just seen the snow, and the decaying plant, but instead, the green…the image of inspiration, and HOPE, caught my eye, and thus, changed the way I woke up to my day.
I felt
HOPE: New beginnings are just around the corner, for each of us, if we just open our eyes and take the time to look for them.
INSPIRATION: if nature can break through the winter and live, then we can break through those things that hold us back and LIVE our lives!
My invitation to you:
1.Take some time today to pause and look at life around you.
2. Note what you see.
3. Let yourself feel the inspiration within you.
4. Put the inspiration into your day and see where it leads you.
5. Write down what inspired you and where it lead you.
Blessings on your day,
Bella Bleue

So last night I couldn’t sleep. It was one of those nights when I had my mind worrying from one thought to another.

Every time I told myself to just relax something else would pop in my mind.
I bet we’ve all had nights like this!
I don’t even remember how I fell asleep but I somehow did an hour and a half after I put my head on the pillow.
What do you do to help you fall asleep when you are being a worry-wart?
I found two ideas of wisdom I wanted to share. I’m certainly trying to remind myself of them:
1. From Martha Beck, “Take a Load off”, in the Oprah Magazine. Martha Beck shares,
“Instead of fretting about getting everything done, why not simply accept that being alive means having things to do?”
Okay, I’ll work on accepting that I have things to do in life just because,
BUT
That doesn’t make the worry disappear..
So I found this quote:
Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow. It empties today of it’s strength.– Corrie Ten Boom, Clippings from My Notebook–
“Worry empties today of its strength.”
Okay so I get the formula now:
To be strong in myself I need to let go of tomorrow’s worries today, and just accept that each day there will always be something to do.
Sweet dreams tonight.
Blessings, Erin
