New Year’s Blessing for You

New Year's Blessing

Blessings upon the New Year for You

May there be an awakening of self love for you this year

a return to wonder about the world around you

a more frequent pause to savor the feeling

of the calm air that fills your body with life

a gentleness that allows you to release anxieties

and makes room for you to be filled

with a knowing that you are deeply Loved

by the Divine’s creation all around you-

plants, creatures, wind, rain, sea, sky, sun…

Bless you and all you hold and hope for…

Blessings, Erin

Healing, Life

Taking time to Reflect & Heal

How often do you give yourself the permission to reflect on your life? How does this time for reflection effect your well-being?

These last couple weeks I’ve been needing some time to just sit back and be a part of life, rather than trying to push life in the direction I want it to go in. Allowing myself to be fully present in my life (accepting life as it is in a moment rather than trying to change people, things etc.) has been very healing. So often we hear how important it is to be proactive about our lives,to take action, to be intentional about the change we want to see in our lives. So I decided to be intentional about bring present in my life. I have been able to reflect, pray, and be fully present in the moments of my life instead of being distracted. As a result I’m appreciating more deeply the blessings I have in my life like my health, my son, my husband, my friends and family, and my spiritual life. This deeper and more intentional presence in my life is allowing me to feel happier, to not be as frustrated, and to be appreciative of my life.

This has been a much needed break for me. I often get angry and frustrated when life seems to be pushing or pulling me in directions I don’t want to go in. And feeling angry takes away from my happiness and diminishes my relationships. Therefore by shifting my focus and by being reflective and calm I have been able to reconnect to my feelings of happiness, and a sense of goodness in my life again.

I am also reading daily spiritual writings that invite me to intentionally reflect, and thus keep my focus on the positive instead of the negative. This has been my saving grace in so many ways because it grounds me back to where my heart and mind most naturally live: in a place of love rather than a place of disconnect.

And a big reminder that has resurfaced in my time of reflection: just be patient, the right answers, the right path will always be shown when the time is right…

How about you? How does taking the time to be reflective enhance your life?

Grateful Healing is Healthy Living

Offering “Thanksgiving:”

Open yourself to receiving the gift of gratitude in your heart. Feel your inner-being transform into a well of peace, love & healing.

When you offer “thanksgiving” for all the many Blessings you have, and allow yourself to be filled with gratitude, it changes your state of mind, and your worldly out-look is suddenly filled with a positive perspective.

  • Your body feels this positive change as well. Even the cells in your body become energized to work towards healing, and health in a more rapid focused manner.
  • You see the world as a more welcoming place, filled with acceptance and motivation.
  • You become healthier each time you allow yourself to feel this gratitude. . You look and see a healthier person in the mirror.
  • Your gratitude and energy surges into the relationships you have, and they too change for the better—they are healthier, more full-filling, more energized, more satisfying, more complete.
  • Your moments of living become gems instead of obstacles.
  • Your Life becomes a GIFT.
  • You become more deeply connected to the Holy and Sacred.

Take the time to feel gratitude, and see the powerful change that happens within you!

Blessing

An Irish Blessing for You

I wanted to share some Irish music with you today. The music is from the beautiful Uilleann Pipes, performed by Davey Spillane called, Journeys of a Dreamer. Music has the ability to flow deep inside us, and inspire and heal us in ways that words cannot. Feel free to enjoy the images. I also invite you to put the music on in the background as you read my message to you today. Blessings!

I don’t usually say much about my husband, but since it is St. Patrick’s Day, and he is right from the Isle of Eire, aka, Ireland, I had to mention him today! He also is a fabulous source of inspiration and motivation in my life. He has taught me to see the world through eyes of hope: That when we dream and make an effort to really try, somehow, a door will open. It might not always be the one we expected, but somehow a new beginning is always there for us…we just have to look. The door that opened to me today is one of Blessing. I have so enjoyed taking my photos and sharing messages of others, blessings and some of my own poems, and prayers with all of you. EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU IS A BLESSING! I am thankful for all of you! I know somehow the spirit of life has brought us together. I am eternally grateful to share in this journey with you. My blessing for you today, of course, is an Irish Blessing.

May you always be blessed, Erin, Bella Bleue

Inspiration

Rain-Washed Blessings Inspired by the Irish

The spring brings rain with it. Rain effects us in many different ways.  It can inspire us to go out and take photos of its beauty in nature.  It can also change our state and damper our mood. Rain may unmotivate us, and make us less interested in doing things. But, we know no matter how rain may make us feel, it is inevitable that it will come one day. Rain is also very symbolic: It is a symbol of cleansing, and renewing. It is a symbol of our tears. During the spring it is a great source of life–it brings forth new life in the earth. It is also a time of washing away the grays of winter and bringing forth new bursts of color.

I would like to challenge you to bring forth new bursts of color in YOUR life…let the rain bring forth new life, new beginnings in you by washing away YOUR burdens, and sorrows, and filling those spaces with new dreams, hopes, and aspirations!

Once you make the effort to be renewed, let the rain heal you and inspire you through ACTION

  • Jump in puddles like you did when you were a child
  • Stand in your shower, and imagine that it is the rain, washing upon you, and removing all that you need to let go of-Allow healing to happen within you!
  • Stand under the rain, until your hair is wet and raindrops fall off your nose into your hands making a puddle-and say to yourself, “I am alive and refreshed!”
  • Go outside with the one you love and dance!
  • Make your dreams a reality:
  • Write down your goals and hopes in a list
  • Pick one a day that you are going to work at
  • Remember a goal is attainable!—which means you will make it happen!

May the Road Rise to Meet You,
Blessings, Erin, Bella Bleue
