I’d like to make more mistakes next time.
I’d relax.
I would be sillier than I’ve been this trip.
I would take fewer things seriously.
I would take more chances.
I would eat more ice cream and less beans.
I would perhaps have more actual troubles, but I’d have fewer imaginary ones.
You see, I’m one of those people who lives sensibly and sanely, hour after hour, day after day.
Oh, I’ve had my moments,
And if I had it to do over again,
I’d have more of them.
In fact, I’d have nothing else,
Just moments, one after another, instead of living so many years ahead of each day.
I’ve been one of those persons who never goes anywhere without a thermometer, a hot water bottle, a raincoat, and a parachute.
If I had it to do over again, I would travel lighter than I have.
If I had my life to live over…
I would start barefoot earlier in the spring, and stay that way later in the fall.
I would go to more dances.
I would ride more merry-go-rounds.
I would pick more daisies…

You are alive right now! So make the most of your life starting today!
Ask yourself this question right now:
What would I wish I had done differently?“—Thinking ahead to your future, knowing what you don’t want to regret/or wish was different about your life will help you know now how to better live your present life:
Write down your answers on paper
Set up your answers like a “Bucket-List”
Hang the paper up somewhere where you will see it so you can be intentional about your goals
Start making the changes you want to see happening in your life immediately! –“You can do anything you put your mind to!”
Change the way you live your life now!
So this becomes your answer when asked,”What would you have done differently?”
” I love the life I’ve lived. I love the life I’m living! There’s not a single moment of my life I’d want to change.”—because you made the effort to work on living fulfilled in your present life!
Give yourself the gift of being fulfilled starting today!
If you like the question/quote from Nadine Stair you might also enjoy the answer of Erma Bombeck,– it may give you some ideas of things you want to work on in your life.
You deserve to be fulfilled in your life every moment!
Nature is a messenger of the Spiritual World and a place where each of us can connect with the Divine, who I call LOVE. I also believe deeply that the Divine lives in each of us: and each of us can transform the world and people with the light and LOVE that dwells inside us. I share spiritual writings with you, with the hope that the words and images awaken something sacred in you. I believe each of us can offer blessing, so my writings are my blessings to you.
My days are spent with my three children, my husband and my cat. I was a Hospital Chaplain for many years before staying home with my kids. I have a Master's Degree in Pastoral Ministry and Spirituality.
Blessings to you today and always.

Amen! I think I’ll take my wife out dancing tonight. Thanks!!
Erin, one of my meditation teachers once invited me to do this reflection: What would I do if I had a year to live? Six months? A month? A week? A day? An hour?…and then I added… a minute? a breath?
It is quite enlightening. I am doing this exercise again. I seem to be returning to some of the meditations, collages, and reflections I’ve done years ago. This is one of them. I need to get a refresher on my answers to inform how I am currently living. Then, of course, I’ll blog about it. I think I did a post one of the times I did this exercise. Oh so enlightening. Now…to live it!

I always love seizing the moment rather than putting things off for tomorrow. Life is short and we never know what awaits us down the bend. 😉
Wonderful for you! I can see this to be true in your photos! Blessings!
